About us

For thirty year old Jan B. Lühn, classic motor cars are equally a passion as well as a job. Coming from three years working at Christie’s the auctioneers, and having played a big part in the sales at Paris and Le Mans, he’s now an independent broker and sees himself as “mediator between private clients” making use of his extensive international contact list…”  (Classic Driver November 2006) – This is what the media said when everything started in 2006 in Brussels as a one-man show.

Since then the company has moved to Germany and is seen as one of the foremost international dealerships for exclusive sports and especially competitions cars.

Today Jan B. Lühn is a an international team of dedicated and independent multi-lingual car specialists focused on hypercars, sports, racing and rally cars from the golden era of motor sport until today. With an exclusive clientele and many years of experience in both, the classic car world and modern international motor sport we benefit from high class contacts across the globe.

Beside the main office in Germany, Jan B. Lühn has representatives in USA, Monaco and in Dubai.

Jan B. Lühn

Jan was born in the late seventies. A time where James Hunt won the F1 World championship and Porsche dominated the 24 hours of Le Mans. A time when sex was safe and motor racing dangerous! His deep passion for motorsport started early, when his father took him for the first time to race tracks like Le Mans and Spa-Francorchamps. After working for the prestigious auction house Christie’s in London and Brussels, Jan decided in 2006 to start his own business. The company Jan B. Lühn was born! Jan’s wife is convinced he is addicted to his iPhone, his friends are convinced he is addicted to the Ferrari racing cars. Jan is the founder of Jan B. Lühn and runs the business mainly out of the German showroom.

Bennett Logan

Bennett was lucky enough to grow up under an hour from the famed Virginia International Raceway. His father would take him to the track, as that was the only thing that seemed to hold his interest. Here he was able to see the Shell Ferrari Historic racing events and also witness the mighty 333SP’s under full song on the back straight after they exited Oak Tree (when the Big Oak was still present) This lit a fire in him for racing cars that burns to this day. He went on to work for two Ferrari dealers from High School all the way through University. Then making his way to Chicago where he entered the classic car world and has not looked back since. Bennett runs the US operations, and can also be found at race tracks and events all over the world. He probably has more airline miles than anyone else in the industry and loves the Boeing 777.

Assyl Yacine

Assyl grew up in the UK and the United Arab Emirates. His passion for the automobile started when he would join his older brother while watching Top Gear in the 1990’s, and the disease has been with him ever since! He started out in the automotive sector as a student, taking as many car-related part-time jobs as he could. He eventually found his way to managing Dubai’s Tomini Classics for seven years, where he honed his passion for post-war European sports cars. Assyl then played an instrumental directorial role in bringing the 1000 Miglia to the UAE.

Matthias Bemben

Matthias is the „junior“ in the team and is a real child of the nineties! He was born into the era of the Ferrari F40 and the McLaren F1 as well as “Need for Speed“ on the Playstation. When he first got in touch with Formula 1, he followed Michael Schumacher on his path to win the world championship title numbers three to seven! Matthias started his first own car-related business at the age of 18 when he tuned and coded ECUs of mainly BMWs. There we are already at his next huge passion – the BMW M models (even during the difficult Chris Bangle years). Matthias is taking care of the showroom, manages logistics and works also as a junior sales man.
